Dr. Neel Patel

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, and emigrated to the United States to pursue his professional career. He completed both medical school as well as dental school, and pursued residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Subsequently he completed a dual fellowship in both Head and Neck Surgical Oncology as well as Microvascular and Microneural Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami. Dr. Patel is both a licensed medical doctor/physician and also holds a dental license, and is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications from the American Board in Head and Neck Oncology/Microvascular Surgery, and he is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Head and Neck Society. Dr Patel is a Head and Neck Surgeon that is uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat various conditions of the head, neck, face, throat, and mouth as well as associated structures. This includes (but is not limited to): all types of head and neck cancer, nerve injuries, complications for radiation and chemotherapy, sleep apnea, etc. Dr. Patel is married and enjoys spending his free time with his wife Stephanie and their German Shepard named Vader. They are expecting their first child in February.
