The All-on-4® treatment is a patented procedure that uses 4 implants to replace all missing teeth in one jaw. It is especially beneficial for patients with substantial bone loss in the back of the mouth.

The average cost of placing and restoring a single dental implant typically ranges from $3,000 to $6,000, with the typical cost being around $4,500. While it is possible to find a dentist who offers lower prices, it is important to consider that cheaper prices may indicate less skill and experience.

The All-on-4 procedure, also referred to as "Teeth in a Day," usually has a price range of $33,495 to $40,000. A lot of patients opt to finance the full cost and pay monthly installments, which can vary from $300 to $400 for either the top or bottom arch, or $675 for the whole mouth, depending on credit approval.

Consider all expenses involved in the dental implant procedure when comparing costs. Cheap implant advertisements may not include all necessary components, such as sedation, extractions, removal of infected tissues, placement of the implant, and temporary and final dentures/bridges.

Dental insurance usually does not include coverage for dental implants, but some plans may cover a portion of the restoration process. There are financing options with competitive interest rates that can be used to tailor payments to your budget.

Most patients find that they experience less discomfort than expected during the surgical procedure, as an anesthetic is used to minimize pain. The doctor uses gentle techniques in a sterile environment to reduce the risk of infection when placing the implants. Following postoperative instructions and taking prescribed antibiotics usually results in minimal discomfort. While pain medications are available to all patients, many find that they are not needed.

Placing an implant is generally simpler than extracting a tooth. A local anesthetic is typically administered, allowing you to remain awake during the procedure. If you are feeling extremely anxious, there are sedative options like IV sedation available to help you relax. This form of sedation can provide mild relaxation or deep sleep, also known as general anesthesia, until it wears off.

After your surgery, you may feel some discomfort due to the nature of the procedure. However, the pain should be manageable. You may experience discomfort in your chin, cheeks, or under your eyes, as well as bruising of the skin and gums, pain at the implant site, and minor bleeding. Painkillers such as Ibuprofen will be recommended to help ease any discomfort.

You will be in our office for a maximum of 3 days, but the procedure will be finished within 24 hours.

You will be provided with a temporary healing prosthesis for your full arch that is both aesthetically pleasing and fully functional. This prosthesis is crafted from a different material than the final one, allowing for any needed adjustments or specifications to be addressed before the final milling process.

Initially, your doctor will recommend using a medicated mouth rinse. Once your mouth has healed, you will switch to using a Waterpik to clean around the implants and under the secured denture. It is crucial to schedule regular follow-up visits with your dentist for cleanings.

Implants can last for many years with proper care, with some successfully in place for over 40 years.

If you are healthy enough to undergo a tooth extraction, you may also be a candidate for dental implants. However, certain factors such as chronic diseases, heavy smoking, or alcohol abuse may complicate or make you ineligible for implant treatment. Your doctor will evaluate your health and medical history to determine if dental implants are a suitable option for you.
